This dynamic project entailed the construction of three unique project components into a landmark facility located at the main entrance to the Virginia Tech campus. Clad in traditional “Hokie Stone,” this facility sets the tone for the architectural character found in most buildings on campus. The Inn offers 147 rooms and includes elegant dining facilities, kitchens (including instructional), labs and classroom space for Virginia Tech’s Hospitality Management Program. The two-level Skelton Conference Center can accommodate 5000 guests and boasts both inside and outside terraces as well as a banquet hall and pre-function hallways. The Holtzman Alumni Center includes a grand hall, 2-story lobby, reception area, boardroom and museum honoring the history of Virginia Tech. One floor is dedicated to providing office space to the Alumni Association.
