Knowledge Works I & II Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center

Knowledge Works I & II are located in the Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center (CRC). The buildings were designed as commercial office buildings for multiple tenants associated with the Corporate Research Center and serve as a regional business acceleration center serving technology-based enterprises at all stages of the corporate lifecycle. The buildings share a common lobby and were designed to offer flexibility in future office and laboratory layouts. Knowledge Works I & II are aesthetically located adjacent to a CRC lake and were designed to be heated and cooled with a geo-thermal heat recovery system, using both deep wells and a heat exchange loop in the adjoining lake.
