Deschutes Roanoke
Tasting Room

Renovations

This project involved the renovation of an existing downtown street-level space, which was the former home to Thelma’s Chicken and Waffles at the corner of Market Street and Church Avenue. A brief list of improvements to the space are as follows: selective demotion, replacement of flooring, re-working of existing plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems, the installation of a new bar, coolers and equipment for a brewing area in the rear, new lighting, phone, wi-fi and security, soundproofing and new painting and ceilings. The exterior of the building was refurbished and painted by the owners. All of the existing glass windows and doors remained as the building is considered to be in the historical district of Roanoke.
