We have had the good fortune of working with Branch Builds on the Rockingham County Judicial Center project, where I have observed their clear understanding of and dedication to the project’s many LEED requirements. Branch and Associates’ performance on these requirements over a two-year construction period has been nothing short of exemplary, in many cases surpassing the requirements outlined in our Project Specifications to earn additional points towards certification. Their efforts and close partnership with our team enabled the project to go beyond the original target of LEED Silver to LEED Gold level of certification.

Our firm’s sustainability requirements for LEED projects are numerous and intensive, yet Branch and Associates has ensured that these requirements never take a back seat to other concerns – an attitude which has enabled them to be so successful in working together with everyone involved.

I am pleased to report our expectations have been exceeded; performance on construction has been superb, the project is currently two months ahead of schedule and the attention to detail and follow-up has been excellent. We are pleased to see that most, if not all, contractors are North Carolina based and that preconstruction goals relative to the MBE/WBE participation goals stipulated in the project documents were met. We have looked hard for contractors who have the reputation of building quality school buildings, and can become part of our team in Franklin County. Branch and Associates has worked with us and not against us since beginning work on our new site. We wanted someone who could literally come out of the ground running…and they have.

Prior to signing the contract, the staff of Branch Builds worked diligently with the school board’s administration, architects and engineers to bring the bid amount within the Board’s budget of this project. Many cost saving ideas were generated by Branch that reduced the cost of our two projects without compromising the quality of construction and planned usages of the facilities being renovated, added or constructed.
